Snake Shyam is a lecturer in Mysore and a Wildlife Conservationist. His reak name is M. S. Balasubramania. He was born in Krishnarananagara, Mysore in 1967. He is famous in Mysore for snake rescues and their rehabilitations. He keeps on trained and educate people about the snakes. For his immense expertise about snakes, their behaviour and biting, sometimes he called up by the local hospitals to know about the species of snake prior to give treatment to the victim.

Early Life
Snake Shyam was born in Krishnarananagara, Mysore in 1967 to M.R.Subbarao and A.Nagalakshmi. An incident happened in his childhood when a snake enters in his neighbour’s house. Everybody wants to kill it but Shyam convinced everyone to not to kill. He caught that snake somehow and freely released it in a garden to move. Since then he got the title Snake Shyam.
Profession
By profession Snake Shyam is a lecturer but he works as a socialist to rehabilitate the snakes. He started rescueing bsnakes in 1980 and as pernthe records over 40,000 snakes getb rescued by him till 1997. Authorities of Mysore defrayed the telephone bills of Shyam to honour him for his great social work.
From 2013 to 2018 he worked in Mysore City Corporation and now acting as a former counselor there. Recently Snake Shyam shortlisted and selected for Bigg Boss Kannada season 10 as a contestant in 2023.
